Sarah Berg, Cofounder and COO
Sarah Berg is an award-winning software producer with an unmatched track record of producing innovative, high quality technology projects within cost and time constraints.
Berg first saw the possibilities for emerging computer technologies while working as a management consultant to nonprofits and museums just over a decade ago. She identified the exciting learning possibilities of new media, and formed initial partnerships with leaders in what was then a fledgling industry. In 1994, she coordinated the first Multimedia Playground exhibit at San Francisco's Exploratorium, bringing the best in new media and the internet to a wider audience, and increasing the museum's attendance by 30% in the process.
She was then tapped by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen to conceptualize and produce a $2M traveling multimedia exhibit to tour with Lollapalooza, a national rock festival that attracts more than half a million teenagers each summer. The project was a smash success, and gained national attention in such outlets as Nightline, Dateline NBC, CNN, MTV, Newsweek, USA Today, and the New York Times.
In 1995, Berg and Ray partnered to produce a critically acclaimed website that ranked as a top 1000 site by PC Magazine, and received heavy traffic in the web's early days. Berg went on to produce web sites for Fortune 500 companies during her tenure at Vivid Studios, one of the top web design studios in the country.
Since cofounding Ripple Effects in 1997, she has overseen production of 13 software products that have won 18 industry awards.
