View an Online Demo of Ripple Effects for Teens

There are several options for seeing a demo of the full power of Ripple Effects for Teens.

Best–Demo CD. To get the best feel for the program, send us your mailing address and we'll send you a demo on CD-ROM.Ê This will show you one complete topic, "Predicting Consequences," with all nine learning modes, audio, and full-motion video. This CD also shows you the list of all 320+ topics in the program, and the first screen for each one.ÊÊ

Good–Online Demo. If you have a fast Internet connection, you can view an online demo of Ripple Effects for Teens. You'll see the audio and some interactive parts, but not the video or tracking features you get in the full program. It's a quicker way to get a feel for its richness.

Before you launch the online demo, make sure you have what you need for it to work: a fast connection to the Internet (DSL or faster), and a particular kind of software–Flash 5.

If you have a slower connection, try it at your own risk – it'll be painfully slow!

For the software, you must have version 5 of the Flash Player. You can download it by clicking here. It takes a few minutes to download and get it working. Once it's done, use your browser back button to return to this page and view the demo.

Launch the Ripple Effects for Teens demo. Keep in mind that even with a pretty fast connection, It takes a few seconds to load each screen. Also, have your speakers turned up, or you'll miss the sound.

These demos aren't something to use with students. Try Skip It if you want a tool you can use with students right away. It'll load quickly, but unlike the demos, it has limited audio and only still photographs.
