Ripple Effects software earns 30th major award

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - September 29, 2006
Ripple Effects for Teens has won a prestigious Award of Excellence, Technology & Learning magazine announced today. This is the 30th national honor bestowed upon Ripple Effects software products.

Ripple Effects for Teens is a media-rich software tool shown through research to improve behavior, build social-emotional skills, and improve academic outcomes. Technology & Learning Magazine first honored the software in 2002. This year, Ripple Effects received a Legacy Award. This category honors products that have stood the test of time and have evolved with the changing technology to continue to offer the highest quality experiences for educators and students.

This year's winners were chosen by more than 35 educator-judges who test-drove the more than 110 entries, logging in many hours in computer labs at San Francisco Bay Area schools. "This year's educator-judges certainly gave all entries a grueling test-drive," said Editor in Chief, Susan McLester. "These award winners reflect the highest quality in education technology products today."

Ripple Effects is the nation's leader in software solutions to solve behavior problems. Its suite of multi-award winning training tools are used in hundreds of school districts, after school programs, and juvenile justice settings nationally.
