BullyFree for Kids

Described as a "mini-module" taken from the larger program Ripple Effects for Kids, this conflict management program presents strategies to reduce antisocial behavior. Content includes 15 topics including bullying (being one, a target of one, or a witness to one), threats, teasing, anger, fear and asking for help. Skill-building lessons in empathy and assertiveness are also offered. Each topic area is presented via video of real kids, animation, lessons, games and activities. Teachers could use the program for large group instruction or let individual students use the program on their own. We found the software easy to use and compelling.
