About this program

Skip It is a free web resource to help teens stop skipping school. It's a great resource for detention, in-school suspension, and guidance settings. Students can use it independently, and with guidance, both one-in-one and in small groups.

To use it, have students click on a topic from the list on the top. They'll arrive at a photo-based scenario of someone else dealing with that problem. From there, they can click on any lit up button along the bottom, in any order, to explore the topic.

Have students complete the Got It games, to test for concept mastery, and the Learning Styles Profile, (found by clicking on the Your Profile button), to find out more about how they learn best. Every screen has questions you can use to prompt reflection, problem-solving, and dialogue.
