Hate is a feeling of extreme dislike or aversion toward something or someone. A person may hate certain food, or speaking in public, or another person, or even a whole group or race of people.

Sometimes hate is based on a concrete experience. The families of people killed in the attack may hate the terrorists who did it. A girl may hate the man who molested her.
