Patriotism involves more than feelings of love. It involves expressing that love through words and actions that support the country and defend what it stands for. This can include flying the flag and singing the national anthem. It can include voting and joining the Peace Corps or armed forces when you are old enough. It can include taking part in actions to keep the country true to its principles, when it seems to stray from them.
